Remove – the premier European accelerator program focused solely on carbon dioxide removal, announced Cohort 5 of its CDR Startup Accelerator Program. It has selected the European startups that are at the front run of helping to mitigate the climate crisis.
At this stage, 20 teams were selected to move forward in Cohort 5 of the remove accelerator to go through a 10-week program. The teams are – Seaweed Generation, reverce, Reverion, CyanoCapture, WindCapture Technologies, Climalyst, LIQUIDLOOP, Takatena (Felix von Heland), Esférico, ReCarbn, Mormaír, HYPHEN GLOBAL AG, Carbonsate, Stathmos-Balance the Climate, Black Bull Biochar, Humify, ClimeRock, ZeroEx, Ivy Protocol, and Cula Technologies.

The 10-week program is the first stage of the process. It will provide sessions and coaching on topics such as carbon markets, CDR policy, the buyer’s perspective, MRV issues, and will help startups fine-tune their value propsition and address their individual roadblocks.
Additionally, the remove accelerator also helps young companies with 1-on-1 coaching, connections to experts, buyers, investors, other #CDR ecosystem stakeholders, non-dilutive funding and more.

The accelerator also recently announced the 8 teams moving forward in Stage 2 of its Cohort 4. The second stage involves a 6-month program where startups dive even deeper into the relevant aspects of building a successful carbon removal company.
