Purchase by Unilever for use in making detergents marks a new potential market. But there are no planned follow-up shipments following the initial pilot delivery.
The Egypt-Emirati Fertiglobe JV on 20 November announced that it had shipped the world’s first “certified” green ammonia cargo from its Ain Sukhna facilities at the southern end of Egypt’s Suez Canal.
The ammonia was produced from green hydrogen from the nearby ‘Egypt Green’ pilot electrolyzer where Fertiglobe partners with parent firm (alongside UAE state firm Adnoc) OCI of Egypt, Norway’s Scatec and The Sovereign Fund of Egypt. (CONTINUED – 910 WORDS)
