ASX Today: Stocks to watch on Tuesday

The ASX is tipped to open slightly higher on Tuesday following the slight rise to ASX futures when they traded during New York hours on Good Friday.

That said, it is shaping up to be a big week for Wall Street, with key price data and quarterly bank reports anticipated later this week.

Here are some ASX-listed companies to look out for during Tuesday’s trade:

Buxton Resources (BUX) has commenced maiden diamond drilling at its Copper Wolf project in Arizona.

Drilling is expected to take a minimum of at least four weeks with initial drilling targeting porphyry-style copper-molybdenum mineralisation beneath a historical hole.

The program aims to drill at least 320 metres deeper than this historical hole and an initial target depth of 1100 metres.

Shares in BUX last traded at 20 cents.

Minbos Resources (MNB) has announced the results of a technical study at its Capanda Green Ammonia project in Angola.

The company said the results confirmed Capanda as “one of the most promising gre ammonia projects globally”.

“The company is developing a project with a strong competitive advantage, including
competitive and installed green electricity pricing, a genuinely zero-carbon project, high-quality water and proximity to markets, which is now recognised as the gold standard for viable Green Hydrogen-Ammonia Projects,” MNB CEO Lindsay Reed commented.

Minbos confirmed its next steps at Capanda were to commence work on a pre-feasibility study and kick off off-take and financing discussions with various partners.

Shares in MNB last traded at 16 cents.

Barton Gold (BGD) has entered an exclusive research and development (R&D) investment partnership with SensOre (S3N) across the central Gawler Craton in South Australia.

Barton and SensOre are collaborating to adapt its Western Australian artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) DPT targeting engine to South Australia.

Phase one analysis revealed multiple new gold and copper targets on Barton’s tenements.

Th inding agreement will allow it to commence phase two development of the discriminant predictive targeting (DPT) for gold and copper mineralisation over 60,000 square kilometres of the central Gawler Craton.

Shares in BGD last traded at 23 cents.

Recce Pharmaceuticals (RCE) has announced the Australian Patent Office confirmed its intent to grant the company its new Family 4 patent.

The patent is for Recce’s anti-infectives “Process for Preparation of Biologically Active Copolymer”, with an expiry set for 2041.

The company confirmed it is the first of Recce’s wholly-owned Family 4 patents to receive the intention to grant.

Shares in RCE last traded at 58 cents.

Battery Age Minerals (BM8) has commenced its maiden field work program at its Tidili copper-gold project in Morroco.

The program aims to verify historical works and undertake further mapping and sampling, laying the foundations for the development of a more expansive exploration campaign later in the year.

“We are very peaed to be kicking off our maiden field work campaign at the Tidili copper-gold project, in a region we see very favourable for the development of mineral projects,” BM8 CEO Gerard O’Donovan said.
