Exploring opportunities in hydrogen export, the government has decided to develop three major ports in the country as Green Hydrogen hubs.

Three major ports of the country – Kandla, Paradip, and Tuticorin – have been identified by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways for the purpose for which necessary infrastructure will be developed at these ports to facilitate production, storage, handling and bunkering of green hydrogen, green ammonia and its derivatives.
