Jakson Green, backed by the India headquartered infrastructure and renewables major Jakson Group, has announced that it has secured over 1 GW of renewable EPC orders across India, Africa, and the Middle East regions within a record time. Jakson Green has won EPC projects with leading renewable power producers in the Middle East for projects in GCC and Africa regions, in addition to its impressive renewable EPC orders in India, including a recent deal with one of the world’s leading renewable energy asset managers to build India’s largest C&I solar park in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Globally, the company is also set to deliver large-scale energy storage turnkey EPC co-located with some of the aforementioned projects.

Al Fattan Energy And LTechUVC Teams Up To Develop 200MW Green Hydrogen And Ammonia Facility In Abu Dhabi

Al Fattan Energy, a UAE-based company, and LTechUVC (a Korean renewable energy developer) have joined forces to create a special purpose corporation or SPC. The SPC, called ALFATTAN LtechUVC Green Energy, will manage the development of a 200MW green hydrogen and ammonia facility. It is estimated that the project will cost approximately $400 million. The KEZAD (provisional), Abu Dhabi’s largest industrial area, will host the project. The SPC will collaborate with Korean companie that have expertise in this field. LTechUVC is leading “Team Korea”. This initiative aims to produce large amounts of green hydrogen and ammonia, with the end goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Kalyon PV Expands Production Capacity Of Its Solar Plant To Meet Growing Solar Demand In Turkey

Kalyon Holding’s Renewable Energy Branch has completed the construction of its 1.35GW solar power plant at Karapinar, Central Anatolia. It is the largest of its kind in the world. According to the Turkish company, it increased its capacity at its solar module plant near Ankara by 2 GW per annum. Kalyon PV, one of Turkey’s largest solar panel manufacturers, has increased its production capacity to 2 GW with the opening of its Kalyon PV Phase 3 Production Line. The ceremony was hosted by Kalyon Holding Chairman of the Board of Directors Cemal Kalyoncu, and attended by executives and board members fromKalyon Holding, Kalyon Enerji, and Kalyon PV. CEO of Kalyon PV, Ersan Tüfekçi, provided technical information about the facility, and Cemal Kalyoncu signed the first panel produced from the Phase 3 line.

CW Enerji Completes 3323.775 kWp Solar Power Plant Project In Şanlıurfa

TAQA Launches New Green Finance Framework For Sustainable Projects

Abu Dhabi National Energy Company PJSC (TAQA), one of the largest listed integrated utility companies in the region, announced, it has launched a new Green Finance Framework for the issuance of green bonds, sukuks, loans, and other debt instruments. Proceeds from such issuances will go to eligible green projects, including renewable energy, energy efficiency, sustainable water and wastewater management, clean transportation, and terrestrial and aquatic biodiversity. Projects that are being financed under the Framework will contribute to TAQA’s 2030 ESG targets and its long-term net-zero goal.

National Bank of Fujairah Provides Credit Facility to CleanMax for UAE Rooftop Solar Portfolio

The National Bank of Fujairah (NBF) anounces that it has provided a long-term credit facility to CleanMax for refinancing its rooftop solar portfolio in the UAE. The facility will cover 48 different operational rooftop solar assets, located in industrial facilities, malls, schools, and universities. Locally available bank finance is critical to the growth of any rooftop solar market. This new partnership between NBF and CleanMax, therefore, represents a significant step toward meeting the goals of UAE’s Energy Strategy, which aims to have 50% clean
energy in the energy mix by 2050.

Qatar To Construct Two Additional Solar Power Plants With A Combined Capacity Of 880 MW

According to an official, Qatar will soon have two additional solar power plants that can produce 880 megawatts (MW), within the next 2 years. This is part of Qatar’s plan for transitioning to clean energy. Mohamad Al Harami, from KSPP of QatarEnergy, said that “Al Kharsaah Solar PV Power Plant (KSPP) represents a qualitative leap towards diversifying soures of electricity production in the country.” Recently, he stated that KSPP was the first solar power station in Qatar. He will soon be followed by a Mesaieed power plant with a capacity of 410 MW and a Ras Laffan power plant with a maximum of 470 MW. Al Harami stated that the two projects will bring added value to Qatar’s renewable energy sector. Al Harami said that KSPP was very important because it has the ability to produce solar power and provide a network of renewable energy for the national electricity grid. Prior to the creation of KSPP Qatar was completely dependent on steam- and gas-powered turbines for electricity production.

LuLu Collaborates With Kanoo Renewable Energy & CleanMax For Solar Installation Project

The solar installation will reduce uLu Warehouse’s carbon footprint and result in significant energy savings. MENA Holdings And Renewable Innovations To Collaborate On Green Hydrogen Production And Distribution In Saudi Arabia

Renewable Innovations, Inc. (RI), a leader in the zero-carbon, green solutions alternative fuel industry, announces that it has signed an agreement for the creation of a joint venture with MENA Holdings, LLC to establish an assembly facility in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to build hydrogen fuel cell products for distribution in the Middle East and North Africa.
