An Ireland South MEP has called for more information on a proposed green energy facility at Whiddy Island.
Plans to develop a 3.2 gigawatt plant beside Zenith Energy’s existing terminal in Bantry Bay were announced in September 2021.
When completed, it would receive offshore wind from the Celtic Sea to produce green hydrogen and green ammonia.
