Pacific International Lines and DP World have joined forces to develop green solutions to decarbonise global supply chains.

Under a memorandum of understanding signed at COP28, the two have agreed to collaborate on trial shipments using biofuels between Jebel Ali Port in Dubai and destinations within Singapore-based PIL’s network.

Over the longer term, the companies will explore expanding this partnership to include other ports within DP World’s network and using other alternative bunker fuels, such as e-LNG, green methanol or green ammonia.
