Pair of Committee Meetings to be held in Rosetown Monday

The Town of Rosetown Council Chambers will be a busy place Monday evening, with two meetings set to take place.

First up is the Recreation Committee Meeting at 6:00 pm. Items up for discussion on the agenda are a Rosetown Centennial Library Report, an Arena Ice Plant Deficiency List, a Ball Diamond Agreement and Tournament Ice Rental Rates from the RMAA.

Also included is a Commitment Request from the Rosetown Golf and Country Club, a sponsored naming discussion for the Aquatic Centre and outside advertising and liquor sales in the Rosetown Arena via the Rosetown Curling Club.

The Protective Services and Public Works Committee Meeting will follow at 7:00 pm. Items on the agenda include an Animal Control bylaw Amendment, a Mutual Aid Agreement with the RM of Kindersley, a discussion about a Fire Investigations Seminar set to run from March 12 to 14 2024, and Biochar and Compost Tea Project discussion. There will also be reports from the Superintendent, the Water Treatment Plant, onefrom a Bylaw Officer, and one from the Fire Department as well.
